In this class, Kathleen will teach you her proven techniques that have won her international awards, including the Best Tasting Cake Award as Team Trinidad and Tobago with Michelle Sohan, at the Milan Cake Designers' World Championship. Kathleen will share her knowledge of dessert cake decoration, flavor combinations, and specialty ingredients. Learn how to enhance your cakes with ganache truffle fillings, delicious mousses, fresh fruits, and more. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced baker, this class will boost your creativity and equip you with the skills to impress your guests. Kathleen will also offer tips on using bakery-grade non-dairy and stabilized whipped cream, as well as insights into American, Italian, and Swiss buttercream. All materials and recipes will be provided by Kathleen, ensuring a smooth learning experience. Join us for a fun journey into the art of cake decorating and amaze your guests with mouthwatering creations. All dessert cakes crafted during the class will be served to students.
