LOCAL PICKUP & DELIVERY

The minimum Delivery Fee is $75.00, and the setup of your cake is available for all tiered cakes within a 15-mile radius of 83836. Delivery outside of this range is available for an additional fee. Once your cake is delivered it becomes the responsibility of the venue. It is important that your cake be kept in an area under 75 degrees or an air-conditioned area away from heat and direct sunlight. If not available, refrigerate until reception. I will work with your venue coordinator to identify a suitable location for the cake table if necessary. For dessert cakes. Pick up is always free or we can meet for a minimal fee of $25.00. Delivery and collection hours are subject to change and will be confirmed on your invoice.

CAKE HANDLING AND STORAGE

Your cake is made with assorted types of buttercreams and fillings, they should be served at room temperature to avoid a greasy mouthfeel (gross!) We recommend removing your cake from the refrigerator 4 hours before service to allow it to come to room temperature. The optimal room temperature is between 70 - 74 degrees Fahrenheit. Recommendations for all delivered cakes is to be refrigerated before and after serving for optimal results, special instructions regarding each cake and design will be included. You may wrap and freeze leftover cakes. A cake serving page for guidance will be available. Confectionary Chalet is not responsible for color change, damage to cakes caused by improper handling and storage once they are in your possession. Please remember to always keep your cake out of direct sunlight. Keeping the cake level and running your car’s AC during transport is recommended.

Kathleen's micro-bakery is a small Idaho Cottage Home Bakery. Our menu is subject to change due to seasonal items.  We offer off-menu or custom cake flavors for extra charge. We offer two different design styles for our semi-custom cakes: edible flowers, 3 D artwork, streamers and confetti, buttercream florals or buttercream ruffles. Kathleen does offer custom messaging on cakes. Please note that each cake she designs is unique.
